When ScreenSolo captures a keyframe, Claude can draft a short paragraph describing what's on screen — useful as the starting point for tutorial notes, bug reports, or a written narrative of the session. The whole batch can then be rolled up into a single Session Summary.
AI keyframe write-ups
Open a recorded session, pick a keyframe in the storyboard, and click Draft write-up on the right panel. Claude reads the keyframe (plus OCR text on macOS) and returns a paragraph in your editor.
The text is editable — tweak the wording, add context the AI missed, delete a sentence. Edits auto-save back to the session folder. Re-running the AI replaces the current draft, so keep a copy if you've heavily edited before regenerating.
One token per keyframe drafted. Editing an existing write-up is free.
Session Summary
Once you've got write-ups (or even without — Claude can work from keyframes alone), the Session Summary button at the top of the storyboard takes every captured keyframe in the session and produces a single coherent summary.
This is a multi-image call — Claude sees the whole storyboard at once and writes one narrative across the lot. Good for:
- A post-call recap of what was demoed
- A QA write-up of a long repro
- The first draft of a tutorial article before you edit it
One token per summary, regardless of session length. Re-running with edited write-ups costs another token.
Focus hints (behind the scenes)
If you've edited a keyframe write-up to call out something specific — *"this is the bit where the timer resets"* — the backend uses your write-ups as focus hints when it generates the Session Summary. You won't see a button labelled "Polish" in the UI; the pass just runs whenever there are write-ups to read.
Where the text lives
Write-ups and summaries are saved into the session's JSON sidecar alongside annotations. They travel with the session — copy the folder to another machine and the write-ups come with it.
What you need
Available to everyone — Free and Pro. It just costs tokens. Free's 10 one-time tokens are enough to try the feature; Pro refills 100 every month (see What an AI token actually buys you).
