How to mirror your iPhone screen+
  1. 1.Open ScreenSolo on your Mac or Windows computer
  2. 2.On your iPhone, swipe down from the top-right corner (or up from the bottom on older models) to open Control Center
  3. 3.Tap 'Screen Mirroring'
  4. 4.Select your computer from the list of available AirPlay receivers
  5. 5.Enter the AirPlay code if prompted
  6. 6.Your iPhone screen will appear on your computer
How to record a session+
  1. 1.Start mirroring your iPhone to ScreenSolo
  2. 2.Click the 'Record' button in the ScreenSolo window
  3. 3.Perform the actions you want to record on your iPhone
  4. 4.Click 'Stop Recording' when finished
  5. 5.Your recording is automatically saved to your Recordings folder
  6. 6.You can download, share, or edit the MP4 file anytime
How to use AI analysis+
  1. 1.Record a session or take a screenshot during mirroring
  2. 2.In the ScreenSolo app, select the recording or screenshot
  3. 3.Click 'Analyze with AI'
  4. 4.Enter your analysis prompt (e.g., 'Extract all text from this screen')
  5. 5.ScreenSolo will analyze the image using Claude AI
  6. 6.View results in the analysis panel
How to annotate live+
  1. 1.During a recording session (Paid tier or higher), click the 'Annotate' button
  2. 2.Select your annotation tool: Freehand, Spotlight, Pin, or Highlight
  3. 3.Draw or mark on the screen as needed
  4. 4.Annotations will appear in your recording
  5. 5.Clear annotations by clicking 'Clear All' or use the eraser tool
  6. 6.Export your annotated recording as an MP4
How to use Presenter mode+
  1. 1.Start mirroring your iPhone to ScreenSolo
  2. 2.Click the 'Presenter Mode' button in the toolbar
  3. 3.ScreenSolo will display your iPhone screen with your webcam in a corner
  4. 4.Your webcam and microphone will be active during recording
  5. 5.Share your screen via Zoom, Teams, or any video conferencing app
  6. 6.Click 'Stop Presenter Mode' to return to normal mirroring
How to manage your subscription+
  1. 1.Open ScreenSolo and click your account icon (top-right)
  2. 2.Select 'Account Settings'
  3. 3.Navigate to 'Billing & Subscription'
  4. 4.View your current plan (Free, Paid, or Premium)
  5. 5.To upgrade, click 'Upgrade to Paid' or 'Upgrade to Premium'
  6. 6.To cancel Premium, click 'Cancel Subscription' (you'll revert to Paid)
How to export your data+
  1. 1.In ScreenSolo settings, click 'Data & Privacy'
  2. 2.Select 'Export My Data'
  3. 3.Choose what to export: Recordings, Preferences, or All Data
  4. 4.ScreenSolo will prepare a ZIP file with your data
  5. 5.Download the file to your computer
  6. 6.Keep it safe or import it to another ScreenSolo installation
How to connect an iPhone or iPad+
  1. 1.Open ScreenSolo on your computer
  2. 2.On your iPhone or iPad, open Control Centre and tap 'Screen Mirroring'
  3. 3.Select your computer from the list of AirPlay receivers
  4. 4.Your device's screen will appear in ScreenSolo
  5. 5.Free accounts can mirror up to 2 iPhones or iPads — upgrade for unlimited
  6. 6.Paid and Premium accounts can mirror any number of iPhones and iPads

Troubleshooting

ScreenSolo doesn't appear in AirPlay picker

Make sure your computer and iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network. Check that both devices are connected to the same router.

Connection is dropping or laggy

Try restarting both your computer and iPhone. Move closer to your Wi-Fi router, or check for interference from other devices.

System compatibility

ScreenSolo requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 13 Ventura or later, or a PC running Windows 10 (version 1903) or later. Intel Macs are not supported. On Mac, check System Settings > General > About. On Windows, check Settings > System > About.

AI features not working

Ensure you have available AI tokens. Free tier users get 10 one-time tokens. Paid users get 30 one-time tokens. Premium users get 100 tokens/month. Paid and Premium users can purchase top-ups.

Recording not saving

Check that your computer has sufficient disk space. Verify write permissions to the Recordings folder. Try restarting ScreenSolo and attempting to record again.

AI tokens not refreshing

Monthly tokens refresh on your billing date. If tokens haven't appeared, try signing out and back in. Contact support if the issue persists.

Audio not playing

Verify your computer's volume is not muted and speakers are working. Check ScreenSolo's audio settings. Try restarting the mirroring session.

Presenter mode webcam not detected

Check that your webcam is connected and not in use by another app. Grant ScreenSolo camera permission in system settings. Restart ScreenSolo and try again.
