ScreenSolo is an AirPlay receiver for Mac and Windows that lets you mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to your computer. Beyond basic mirroring, it includes recording, AI-powered screen analysis, annotations, and presenter mode with webcam integration.

On your iPhone, swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center. Tap 'Screen Mirroring', then select your computer from the list. When ScreenSolo appears, tap it to connect.

ScreenSolo works on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or later) running macOS 13+, and on Windows 10+. Intel Macs are not supported. Any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 14 or later can connect via AirPlay.

No. ScreenSolo uses AirPlay, which is wireless. Just make sure your phone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.

Right-click on any moment while mirroring or in a saved session. Choose from actions like 'Summarise', 'Explain', 'Extract text (OCR)', or 'Write up keyframes'. At the end of a recording, one tap generates a Session Summary across every keyframe. The AI analyses your screen content and gives you a result in seconds.

Free comes with 10 one-time AI tokens to try things out, and they never expire. Pro includes 100 tokens a month that refill at the start of each billing cycle. Need more before the next refill? Buy a top-up of 50 tokens for $2.99; top-ups never expire.

Each AI action — summarise, explain, extract text (OCR), Smart Extract a region, write up a keyframe, or generate a Session Summary — costs one token. Tokens are consumed when the analysis completes successfully.

Click the record button in the toolbar. Recording captures video and audio to MP4. The free tier records at 720p with each clip capped at 5 minutes. Pro removes the cap — 1080p, unlimited length at 60fps, plus no watermark.

Every time you drop a pin, add an annotation, or spotlight a region during a recording, ScreenSolo captures a keyframe screenshot of that moment. The keyframes build a storyboard timeline you can scrub through and review in your session archive.

With Pro, you can use the annotation tools during a recording to draw freehand lines, add spotlights, pin markers, or highlight areas of the screen. These annotations appear in the recording. Keyframe screenshots, zoom mode and pin markers are available on the free tier too.
