If you've burned through your monthly Pro allowance, top-ups give you more tokens without changing anything else about your plan.
How to buy
- Open your account page — either via the in-app account chip or directly in a browser.
- Click Buy more AI tokens.
- The Stripe checkout opens. A top-up is 50 tokens for a reference $2.99 (you'll see the live figure in your own currency at checkout and on pricing).
- Pay → return to ScreenSolo → tokens land within a few seconds.
What a top-up gives you
50 tokens per pack. Each token covers one AI request — Smart Extract, Explain, a keyframe write-up, or a Session Summary. Buy as many packs as you like.
Do top-ups expire?
No. Top-up tokens never expire. They sit alongside any other tokens you hold and get drawn down only when your refilling balance hits zero.
The drawdown order:
- Pro monthly allowance first (uses your 100/month before touching anything else, since these reset each cycle and would otherwise be lost).
- One-time tokens (your Free welcome allowance).
- Top-up balance (last, since these don't expire and you want them to stick around).
Who can buy top-ups
- Free: top-ups aren't sold on Free on their own — subscribe to Pro first, then top up anytime.
- Pro subscribers: yes, anytime — useful if you hammer the AI features early in the billing cycle and don't want to wait for the next refill.
Why we don't sell smaller packs
We considered tiny 10-token packs but the per-transaction Stripe fee makes them uneconomic. 50 tokens is the smallest size that still leaves a reasonable margin after fees and Anthropic API costs.
