Recording reliability (1.0.13)

Stopping a recording is now instant and dependable, including on the newest macOS — no more waiting on a spinner at the end of a long take. The webcam bubble records reliably inside the take, and the app keeps its logs tidy on its own.

The iPhone layer (1.0.15, Pro)

Record your whole screen with an iPhone mirrored into it and, on Pro, the phone records as its own track. In the editor you can move it, resize it, hide it for a stretch, or feature it full-frame — and add a device frame that exports with the video. It works with Direct the video too: type “hide the iPhone at 0:10” or “feature the phone” and it’s done.

The mid-take camera (1.0.15, Pro)

Turn your camera on partway through a recording and it becomes an editable layer from that moment. Switch it off and its recording stops instantly — nothing after that point to trim away.

On Free, the phone and camera are recorded into the file exactly as you saw them on screen.
