Common questions
Do I need a cable?
No. It works over your Wi-Fi network using AirPlay, which is already built into your iPhone.
Do I need to install anything on my iPhone?
No. Only on the computer. Your iPhone already knows how to do this.
Does this work on Windows?
Yes, on Windows 10 and 11. Windows can't receive AirPlay by itself, so ScreenSolo adds that.
Can I mirror more than one iPhone at once?
No — one iPhone at a time, on every plan.
How long can I mirror for free?
Five minutes at a time, up to five times a day. A small countdown beside the ScreenSolo logo shows how long is left, and the count resets at midnight. Pro has no limit.
Can I record my desktop and my iPhone at the same time?
Yes, on Pro. The phone records as its own track, so you can move, resize or hide it after the fact.
Is my screen sent anywhere?
No. Everything stays on your computer. Nothing is uploaded and there's no cloud account needed to record.
Will there be a watermark?
On Free, recordings carry a small mark in one corner, and while you mirror a small ScreenSolo logo and countdown sit in the corner of the phone. Pro removes both.
