iPhone on your computer
Put your iPhone on your computer.
It works like an Apple TV. Open ScreenSolo, tap Screen Mirroring on your iPhone, and your phone is on the big screen — no cable, nothing to install.
Free forever on Mac and Windows. No account needed to start mirroring.
Four steps, about a minute
Install ScreenSolo on your computer
Mac or Windows, same app, same subscription. The free tier is enough to try this.
Check both devices share a Wi-Fi network
That's how they find each other. No cable, no pairing code, no setup.
Tap Screen Mirroring on the iPhone
Open Control Centre, tap Screen Mirroring, and pick your computer from the list.
That's it — your phone is on screen
Move it, resize it, or use Focus Mode to show nothing but the phone.
Once it's on screen
Record the phone
Capture it as video, saved straight to your computer.
Record your desktop too
The phone becomes its own layer you can move or hide afterwards.
Smart Capture films the clicks
It zooms in on every tap, so it looks edited before you edit it.
Export it anywhere
MP4 up to 4K, widescreen, vertical or square. Or a PDF guide.

Common questions
Do I need a cable?
No. It works over your Wi-Fi network using AirPlay, which is already built into your iPhone.
Do I need to install anything on my iPhone?
No. Only on the computer. Your iPhone already knows how to do this.
Does this work on Windows?
Yes, on Windows 10 and 11. Windows can't receive AirPlay by itself, so ScreenSolo adds that.
Can I mirror more than one device?
Two at once on the free tier. Pro removes that limit.
Can I record my desktop and my iPhone at the same time?
Yes, on Pro. The phone records as its own track, so you can move, resize or hide it after the fact.
Is my screen sent anywhere?
No. Everything stays on your computer. Nothing is uploaded and there's no cloud account needed to record.
Will there be a watermark?
On the free tier, a small one in the corner of recordings. Pro removes it.
