1.0.29 — Export progress and smoother discovery.

On Windows, you can now watch an export from start to finish, and your iPhone finds your PC more reliably.

New

  • On Windows, after you choose where to save, an “Exporting…” bar shows the progress, with a Cancel button, until the video is ready. Then ScreenSolo tells you where it saved the file, with a button to show it in its folder.

Improved

  • On Windows, ScreenSolo now checks that your PC is announced on the network with an address your iPhone can reach. If it isn’t, ScreenSolo announces itself instead, so your iPhone can still find it.
  • On a work or school PC whose policy blocks AirPlay, ScreenSolo now says so plainly and tells your IT team exactly what to allow.

Fixed

  • On Windows, an export that runs into trouble now stops with a message instead of closing ScreenSolo.
  • On Windows, your webcam and iPhone could run slightly ahead of your voice. In new recordings they now line up with the sound, in the editor and in exports.

Download the latest version — updates are free on both tiers, and ScreenSolo updates itself on Mac and Windows.
