Someone has set up a ScreenSolo team and invited you to a seat. A seat is the full Pro subscription for you — every feature and all the AI — paid for by your team, with nothing for you to buy.
What the invite does
You'll get one of two things:
- An invite email — sent when your admin adds your address. Open it and follow the link to accept.
- A join link — a link your admin shares directly. Opening it lets you request to join; your admin approves the request from their console.
Either way, accepting puts you on a seat. Invites expire after 14 days — if yours has lapsed, ask your admin to resend it from their Invitations tab.
How to accept
- Open the invite email (or the join link your admin sent you).
- Sign in to ScreenSolo with your own account — the Google, Microsoft, Apple, or email login you already use, or a new one if you don't have one yet. The team doesn't create or share a login for you.
- Once you're in, your seat activates. Your account now shows Pro + AI.
You keep your own login
This is the important part: a team seat is attached to your identity, not handed down from the team. You sign in as yourself and the seat simply grants Pro + AI on top.
In your account, the billing page will read "Pro + AI · managed by your team" — there's nothing for you to pay or manage, and purchase prompts are hidden because you're already covered. Need a change to your seat? Contact your team admin.
If you ever leave the team
Your seat's Pro + AI access ends, but any Pro you bought personally stays yours — leaving a team never removes a purchase you made on your own account. If you'd like to keep Pro + AI after leaving, you can buy a personal plan at any time.
