Teams lets you roll ScreenSolo out across a group on a single subscription, billed per seat, per month. Every seat is the full Pro subscription for that one person — every recording feature and all the AI, the same thing an individual buyer gets — at a volume discount off the individual price:
- 2–9 seats — −20%
- 10–24 seats — −25%
- 25 or more seats — −30%
It's volume pricing, not a flat rate: cross a threshold and every seat moves to the cheaper band (not just the seats above it), and the price updates automatically as you add or remove people. The exact figure for your currency is shown live on the pricing page and at checkout.
Buying seats
- Go to the pricing page and use the seat calculator. Teams starts at 2 seats — if you only need one, Pro on its own is the better fit.
- The total updates as you change the count (seats × the per-seat price). If you're eligible for the education discount, a −30% badge applies automatically.
- Click Buy seats. You'll sign in if you haven't already (your chosen seat count carries through), then land in Stripe Checkout.
Whoever buys becomes the team admin and lands in the admin console to invite people. You can make other members admins too.
The admin console — /account/team
Open it from the Team item in your account sidebar (admins only). It has four tabs:
- Overview — seats used vs total with a capacity bar, pending-invite count, monthly cost, and the invite card.
- Members — everyone on a seat, their status and role, with Remove from team per member. (One-tap Reassign seat is coming soon; for now, remove the member and invite the replacement — the seat count, and your bill, stay the same.)
- Invitations — pending invites with Resend and Revoke. Invites expire after 14 days.
- Billing — your current plan, add/remove seats with a live proration preview before you confirm, and a button to the Stripe portal for your card and invoice PDFs.
Inviting people
From Overview → Invite people you can paste a list of emails (parsed into a live preview), upload a CSV, or copy a join link. People you invite by email receive an invite email; with the join link, anyone can request to join and you approve each request from the Members tab. Either way, each person who accepts takes one seat.
If you invite more people than you have free seats, the console tells you up front it will add seats at the per-seat rate (prorated) — it never silently overspends.
Adding and removing seats
Do it any time from the Billing tab. Adding seats shows the prorated amount charged today plus the new monthly total before you confirm; removing seats takes effect at your next renewal and removed members keep access until then. Billing is managed through the Stripe portal.
Members keep their own identity
Each member signs in with their own account and occupies a seat. While they're seated, their billing page reads "Pro · managed by your team" and every purchase prompt is suppressed. If a member ever leaves the team, any personal Pro subscription they hold separately is unaffected — leaving a team only ends the team-paid seat.
