Smart Capture watches where you click while you record, and turns those clicks into a polished video — automatically.
What it does
- Auto-zoom — every click gets a smooth zoom-in on the spot you clicked, then eases back out. No editing required.
- Click snapshots — each click also saves a snapshot, so one recording gives you a video *and* a set of step-by-step stills.
How to turn it on
On the record screen, flip the ✨ Smart Capture card on before you press Record. Then record as normal and click as normal — it works for desktop recordings and iPhone mirror recordings alike.
Everything stays editable
The zooms aren't burned into your video. They sit on top of the recording as effects, so after you stop you can:
- Make every zoom stronger or softer with one dial
- Move or delete individual zooms on the timeline
- Turn them all off and keep the plain recording
See Editing a recording for the editor itself.
Recording your desktop with a mirrored iPhone on it?
On Pro, with Smart Capture's Animate clicks on, the mirrored phone records as its own editable layer — move it, resize it, hide it, or give it a device frame afterwards. See The iPhone layer.
